Hello everyone! A quick update about our time aboard the Arikeh.

We’ve managed to survive the halfway point of our month short exploration of the Andaman Sea. Where the hell has the time gone? At some point we’ll document our mini sea exploration in more detail, but for now, I hope you enjoy a few photos. We’ve kept a log of our anchorages, fuel consumption, & mileage, way too much for a quick update! At the moment, we’re sitting on a mooring at the resort destination of Ko Lipe. About half our stops have been on remote islands, with the others being more developed. We departed with a very loose itinerary, allowing the wind and our hunger to determine direction. For the inquiring Googlers, here’s a short list of a few of our stops so far: Ko Yao Yai, Phi Phi, Maya Bay, Ko Lanta Yai, Ko Ngai, Ko Muk & the Emerald Cave, Ko Kraden, & the National Park @ Tarutao.

All of us are well, minus a few stubbed toes, sun burns, & strange bug bites. I am not much better at sailing than when we boarded, but who cares, this boat has a stinky, leaky diesel engine. Our updates are limited because our ability to keep electronics charged while on the boat is poor at best. I do not miss the ice and snow! Sawyer is missing “Alaskan food”…whatever that is:)

I apologize in advance if the photo format isn’t up to snuff…no time for details right now. If it’s not right, Kelly will fix later! We’ve got more to share when time allows.

Cheers & Love to all.
